Winter with Santa at the Moms Christmas Party. Weston wanted nothing to do with Santa this time.

The plane Andrew flew on.

Flying over the Texas Motor Speedway.

Waiting for the game to start.

While in Lincoln we did a lot of acting goofy,
Trying to stay warm,
singing Christmas songs,
and thanks to my FIL Frank for taking the kids to the Childrens Musuem 3 days in a row my MIL and I got a lot of projects finished! We may have also been talked into doing a swap meet next fall at a local fabric store. That is if we get enough things made that we don't want to keep for ourselves! Here are a couple of the things we worked on...Daddy arrived in Lincoln Wed. morning so he could start cooking all of our yummy Christmas treats. We had kuchen, peanut-butter balls, dream bars, frozen fruit salad, garlic bubble loaf, caramels, taco soup, and Chex mix all on our list of things for him to make so he kept pretty busy.
Our first family Christmas was on Thursday night with Andrews Dad. We all met at Valentinos for dinner and ro exchange gifts. After dinner the parking lot was pretty slick and Andrew's Dad ended up slipping and falling. On Christmas morning we found out he had broken 4 ribs from his fall. Thankfully he seemed to be doing a little better when Andrew talked to him Monday morning.
On Christmas Eve we did a little last minute shopping.(Andrew decided Daisy needed something for Christmas so he went to get fabric so his mom could make her a dog bed.) Then it was back to my Mil's house for our traditional Christmas Eve dinner of taco soup and garlic bubble loaf. After dinner we picked up my Mom to go look at lights. Since I was a little kid I remember always going to look at lights on Christmas Eve so it is a tradition that I want to continue with my kids. When the kids Weston had enough of being in the car we headed back to my Mil's house to get ready for bed. The kids had a big day ahead of them!
New Bed!
