Platte River State Park

Last weekend some of our friends invited us to join them at Platte River State Park back in Nebraska. They stay for the weekend so we decided to head up there on Saturday and spend the day. Andrew went up early to play golf with the guys then Pootie and I joined them a little later. We decided to let Baby Brother spend the day with the grandparents so he wouldn't be in the sun all day. He got to see Andrew's stepsister and her family and also got to see some llamas. Andrew's parents have a friend that owns a farm and he has some. I wish I could of been there when he was checking them out!

After we got to the park we took the kids to do crafts. They had a lot of crafts for the kids to chose from. Pootie decided that she wanted to paint a ceramic cat.

Then we headed to the stables to check out the horses.

Then Laura and I left to go to her sister's Bachelorette party so that meant the Daddy's were in charge. After we were gone they went down to the lake for ice cream and to feed the fish. They also saw some deer!




While Andrew was at the Cabin he took a picture of the soap just for me!

Then kids danced in the dining area, made s'mores and went to a melodrama before calling it a night. Pootie said it was the best day ever and is already talking about when we can go back. Thanks Laura, Adam, E, Em, and B for inviting us to come along!!
