Day 1
We drove to Carriage Crossing for breakfast, then headed to Colorado Springs.
We stopped for shakes at a old fashion soda shop.
When we got there we went straight to Garden of the Gods.

The kids got to see tons of deer.
We started our day by going to Santa's Workshop. It was freezing that morning but we still had a lot of fun. We would ride some rides, then go into some shops to look around or have some hot chocolate. After that we had tickets to ride the Pike Peak Cog Train. It was a great experience and I wold recommend it to anyone going to Colorado Springs. Once we got up to Pikes Peak though it was COLD. We didn't spend much time sightseeing at the top since the temperature up there was 17 degrees. We all had on our summer clothes with a light jacket.
No trip to Santa's Workshop woud be complete without visiting the talking parrot!

We stopped in Castle Rock on our way to Boulder to check out a really nice outlet mall. We spent 4 hours there! We met up with Andrew's family when we got to the hotel and spent most of our day relaxing by the pool! We also tried out The Sink which was a restaurant that was featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.
Day 4
We spent the day down at Pearl Street. My Mother-in-law was nice enough to keep Weston so we got to spend the day with just Winter. After Pearl Street we did family pictures with Andrew's family. Andrew's Sister-in-law took the pictures and she did a wonderful job!
Day 5
The big day!! We woke up bight and early since our start time was 7:45. My final time was 1:24:03.78 and Andrew's was 53:08.1. After the race we went back to the hotel to get cleaned up before making the long drive home.
