Spring Break

Spring Break is officially over. Today our lives are back to normal and back on schedule. The kids and I went back to Nebraska to spend time with family, like we do for every spring break. We always have a good time but our routine gets so out of whack that it is always nice to come home. This year my Mom had surgery to have her gallbladder removed so I also went back to help her. Thankfully the surgery went great and she was feeling better after only a couple of days!

We started our spring break by playing outside in the beautiful weather. Weston is getting really good at climbing up the rock wall on our playset.

Before we left we celebrated Daddy's 31st birthday!

While we were in Lincoln we made our usually stop at the Childrens Museum.








Winter decided to paint her face to look like Clifford The Big Red Dog! I think she did a really good job!

We took the kids to Morril Hall on Wednesday. I have been wanting to take them for a while and it finally worked out for us to go!










We also went to a Dinosaur Museum on our last day in Lincoln.




They had a really neat maze made out of mirrors.



On Friday we woke up to a thin layer of snow on the ground in Nebraska. We packed up the car and headed to Wichita with me, the kids, and my two cousins. I spent Saturday shopping for wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses for my cousins wedding. She found her dress and we got some good ideas on what dresses we want. They ended up leaving early Sunday and we spent the day catching up on laundry and running errands as it snowed. Would someone please tell Mother Nature that it is almost April. Enough with the cold weather!
