I ♥ Nebraska Football

This weekend Andrew had tickets to the Nebraksa vs. South Dakota game so we made a nice long weekend of it. Winter didn't have school on Monday so we were in no hurry to get home. We got into Lincoln late Friday and let the kids run off some energy before tucking them into bed for the night. Saturday morning we met Pootie's friend E and his family at the Childrens Museum. They were in town too since Andrew was going to the game with E's Dad. The kids and Daddy(this was his first time at the museum) played for a couple hours before Baby Brother was wore out and ready for a nap.

After his nap I took off to watch the game with E's mom while Baby Brother and Pootie got to play with their cousin Brandy at my Mil's house. After the game we met up with the guys for some drinks and a late snack of Amigos! I love being in Lincoln during football season. It is seriously my favorite time of the year.

On Sunday we headed up to Pender to see Andrew's Grandparents. They have a ton of old matchbox/hotwheels that the kids love to play with. I brought in my camera but set it down by the door and forgot about it. After that we headed to my sisters house for dinner and to let the kids play. They just moved and live on a lake. Like you walk out there back door and walk 20 feet across there deck to the lake. It scares the bejesus out of me but I can also see a lot of fun summers there letting the kids play in the water.

We had planned to get up bright and early Monday morning to come back but decided to see if Baby Brother traveled better at night. We left right when he usually goes down for bed Sunday night and hoped he would sleep the whole way. Well lets just say he didn't. He fussed off and on the whole 4 hours. It was worse then when we come back during the day. He would fall asleep for 20 minutes then wake up and cry for 20 minutes. It was the longest car ride of my life.

The only time I used my camera this whole trip was at the Children's Museum.
