Exploration Place

On Saturday we decided to head to Exploration Place to check out their traveling exhibit called Grossology. We have only been to Exploration Place once and it was right after we moved here. We didn't stay long and thought it was pretty disappointing. We are used to the Children's Museum back in Lincoln so we didn't think that there was much to do. Well this trip was completely different. Pootie had so much fun and we ended up staying for 4 hours. We started out at the vet office they have set up.

After that we made are way into Grossology. Right when you walked in there was a weird robot lady telling you about the exhibits you would be encountering.

Then we took a tour through the nose and got sneezed on before heading over to shoot snot balls into the nose.


Next was the Barf machine where you turned a crank to make it throw up. Baby Brother even got in on the fun!


Then we climbed along some skin to the finish line

before heading over to the 30ft. long 3D model of the digestive system. You started at the mouth and made you way crawling and sliding until you came out the um...er...rectum onto what else but a brown mat.





We also played match the body odor to the correct part of the body and they had a life size version of the game operation. We got to make toot noises, hear the sounds are bodies make, and do a whole bunch of gross disgusting things nobody likes to talk about. After we had about as much grossness as we could take we checked out the rest of Exploration place.
