Sewing, Ark City, and My Big Boy!!

So my mil came down Oct. 3rd to help with Weston's Halloween costume and while she was here she taught me how to sew! Here is my first project that turned out.

Weston modeling my hat and the shirt my mil made.

On Saturday Andrew had to go to Ark City to look at some things for work so we decided to tag along. We started the day off by going to Lowe's for their children's workshop. Winter made a ball toss.

Weston waiting patiently.
Then we headed to Ark City. When we got there we checked out his work stuff then went to Winfield to check out the college. Andrew and Winter got out of the car to take pictures and check things out while Weston and I stayed in the warm car. It was REALLY cold that day. Then we stopped at Nieves' for lunch. It is a cute little Mexican restaurant that got recommended to us but since living in Texas for 8 months I will say I was not very impressed. We had planned to take a long way home to explore but the kids where cranky so we took the toll so we could get home fast.

On the way out of Winfield I was a little shocked to look out my window and see this....

Then at the end was the banner.

This weekend Weston was playing with a riding toy at a friends house and was really enjoying himself so we decided that he needed one of his own. Well it was perfect timing because on my moms group one of the girls had just put one up for sell so now Weston has his very own Dozer! He looks like such a big boy. :(

Big Sis showing him how its done.
